FOUNDER

Mr. Quentin Vatelot founded Balthus Capital in 2015, a private investment firm that has successfully completed several private equity investments in telecommunications, property technology and real estate.

Prior to Balthus, Quentin spent 10 years at Colony Capital, a global real-estate investment firm with over $50Bn of assets under management where he was responsible for the identification, evaluation, consummation and management of new equity and debt real estate investments (has transacted on over $5 billion of transactions).

Quentin started his career at Molten Ventures, a leading European venture capital firm where he was focused on early stage technology companies. Quentin received a Masters degree in Finance from the European Business School in Paris.

CO-FOUNDER

Prior to Balthus Capital, Mr. Bibbins spent 6 years at Related Urban Development where he worked on The Grand, a 1.5 million square foot mixed-use development located in downtown Los Angeles. Tyler was responsible for all aspects of the project including financial analysis, debt sourcing, consultant coordination, entitlements, legal oversight, design, construction, leasing / marketing, operations and asset management.

Prior to joining Related in 2017, Tyler was an Associate at Colony Capital where he analyzed and executed acquisitions and loan originations across a variety of real estate sectors throughout the US. Mr. Bibbins began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Real Estate, Gaming and Lodging Group.

Tyler received a B.S. in Accounting from The Leventhal School of Accounting at the University of Southern California.

MANAGING PARTNER

Mr. Anthony Barkett brings proven experience in real estate and infrastructure platform development across institutional and family office levels, with 15 years in the industry.

Mr. Barkett joined Balthus Capital in 2024 as Managing Partner. Prior to Balthus, he spent two years at Project Canary from 2022 to 2024.

Before that, Mr. Barkett spent four years at Silverado Company from 2018 to 2022, and began his career in real estate investment at Colony Capital, where he worked from 2012 to 2017.

Mr. Barkett received a: B.A. in Business Administration with a minor in International Relations at the University of Southern California.

HEAD OF INVESTOR RELATIONS

Mr. Jean-Baptiste Delas is an investor relations professional with experience across private capital and real estate platforms, focused on LP engagement and strategic initiatives, with 7 years in the industry.

Jean-Baptiste joined Balthus Capital in 2024 as Head of Investor Relations. Prior to Balthus, he spent two years at Gorillas from 2021 to 2023, where he worked in strategy development.

Before that, Jean-Baptiste began his career as an Associate at BLU Capital, where he worked from 2019 to 2021.

Jean-Baptiste received a Master's degree in Economics from the Sorbonne University and a Master's in Management from IE Business School.
